The use of cell-phones in classrooms may vary depending on the finality they are utilized for, that is why they could have as many advantages as disadvantages. It is demonstrated that the use of cell-phones on our daily life can helps us on our daily tasks, as so to solve problems, resolve and emergency, among others. However, youth tends to use it for being communicated at the social media instead of giving it an educational purpose, and as a result of that the question comes up: is it beneficial the use of cell-phones in classrooms? The complete prohibition of cell-phones in classes can derives in a quieter, organized classroom; students can focus all their attention up to the professor because they do not have their cell-phones near or turned on as an imminent distraction. Is it important Education for the growth of a nation?

Talking about the growth of a nation is, at the same time, talking about whom makes the nation. Politicians, architects, doctors, engineers, business people, tends to be the most recognized ones at the time of talking about aims in a nation, but who were behind? Who helped, guide and instructed this important amount of people in their way to reach this goal? Professors, educators and education in general paved the way, the complete nation’s way, and this is why it deserves to be recognized. Education starts being underrated at preschooler education.

Money spent on books.

The following report is concerning a line graph that shows the money spent on books among four different countries: Germany, France, Italy and Austria. From zero to one hundred millions of dollars, and between 1999 and 2005, the line graph has four lines crossing it: Green : which represents Germany; demonstrate that from the first 80 million German people started spending increased considerably until 1999, when it fell significantly until 2003, almost reaching their first amount, however, it gradually increased until 2005 when it reached its peak getting almost 100 million. Blue : representing France shows that French people started at 1995 spending almost 60 million of dollars, digit that slowly increased through the years until in 2001 it suddenly boomed almost reaching 80 million. Yellow : showing Italy, their money spent on books fluctuated between 50 and 60 million from 1995 to 2003, where it gradually increased reaching more than 60 million in 2005.

How important are heroes?

Since I was a child, a grand amount of professors were decisive in the choice that I made for my future: being a Nursery Educator. Professors are, in addition to parents and primary caregivers, who encourage children to develop their abilities, to improve and to believe in themselves to achieve all of this. As Rita Pierson says in her speech, the relationship between the professor and the child is one of the most important things to develop both self-esteem and academics achievements. However, it’s almost unavoidable that we won’t find one single professor who doesn’t like their job. Who teaches because they have to, not because they believe in purposes, in achievements and most importantly: in children. Even though, as a professional, I’d like to make a change in that field. Demonstrate that when you, as a professor, trust in children they would trust in you too to encourage them. With an increase in the search for high-quality education, many schools have started to ask for little children who are going to integrate their educational establishment a series of capacities that they are not supposed to know. Due to the fact, those are taught at primary school. In response, kindergarten establishments have started to teach with Primary school methods, standardizing nursery education to be similar to that of schools. One of the biggest problems at Nursery Education it's that it's not seen with the acknowledgment that deserves as pedagogy, usually despised by the other ones. That’s why it becomes really hard to plead for the correct recognition at nursery education, due to the fact that it can be easily replaced for others because it’s falsely considered by them as not important. Valeria Allendes is a currently student of Universidad de Chile, at the Pedagogy in Nursery Education career. She was born in Santiago, San Bernardo, at February 1999, but lived in Lo Espejo since she was 3 years old until she was 14. In 2013, she moved to San Miguel, while she started her high school studies. At 2016, she started studying English at the Chilean-British Institute, achieving two English certificates, later that year she finished high school. She started her university studies at 2017. In almost a year and a half, she has learned a lot, and she has become a great follower of the Pikler method. The Pikler method is an educational method created post-war, focused in the interests of the children, where they are treat as conscious human beings. After learning a lot about Dr. Pikler and her method, Valeria would like to work in an educational centre based on this practices, and maybe create her own centre one day.
